  • In Australia, both Clinical Psychologists and Psychologists have completed the same core training and are fully registered to provide therapy and mental health support.

Our Clinical Psychologists have completed a registrar program and holds a clinical endorsement, whereas our Psychologists are currently completing their registrar program.

So, it’s not about one being more qualified — it’s just about whether they’ve finished that final step in the clinical endorsement process.

  • No wait time!

We have clinicians available Monday - Friday with a range of availability depending on who would be best to support you.

  • The first session is about building a foundation with your psychologist. Your psychologist will go through consent information and ask questions about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. It’s a chance for you to talk openly in a safe, non-judgemental space.

They might explain how therapy works, and start working with you to figure out a plan moving forward. You’re welcome to ask questions at any point — it’s your space, and we want you to feel comfortable.

Most importantly, it’s okay to feel nervous. That’s completely normal, and we’re here to support you at your pace.

  • This is a common question clients ask their psychologists.

Some people only need a few sessions to work through a specific issue, while others prefer ongoing support over a longer period.

In the first few sessions, your psychologist will work with you to understand your goals and come up with a plan that makes sense for you. It’s not a one-size-fits-all process — you’re in control, and we’ll check in regularly to see how things are going and whether you feel it’s helping.

You’re never locked in, and you can talk to your psychologist anytime about how therapy is going and what you need.
