Alyssia is a genuine, warm and relatable clinical psychologist who utilises a collaborative approach to therapy. She introduces evidence-based skills in a thoughtful and tailored manner, as you work together to overcome your specific challenges.

Alyssia completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of New South Wales, a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at the University of Newcastle and a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. Alyssia is currently completing a PhD, where her research focuses on improving treatments for individuals experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and nightmares. She is a published author and has presented her research at various national and international conferences.

Alyssia holds general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Alyssia works with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

    In her clinical practise, Alyssia utilises a range of evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Schema Therapy (ST) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
