Adult ADHD Assessment

ADHD testing for adults can be conducted via telehealth and the remote administration of psychometric tests. This provides an easy and accessible means for clients to explore a diagnosis of ADHD in the comfort of their environment. At the end of the assessment process clients are provided a comprehensive report that details diagnostic findings and treatment recommendations. All assessments include the use of evidence based and industry accepted measures. Should clients wish to pursue options for medication under the care of a psychiatrist, the diagnostic report provided can facilitate this process. 

Testing for ADHD Sessions:

Initial appointment (duration 90+min)

Appointment with collateral informant (30 min)

Debrief appointment (duration 30min)

A deposit of $400 is required to proceed with your booking.

Sessions are generally conducted via telehealth on a Tuesday and Wednesday each week.

Online questionnaires:

As part of the assessment process you will receive several emails from psychometric testing platforms asking you to complete questionnaires. You will have to complete these prior to your initial appointment. 

Collateral Informant

As part of the assessment process, we ask that you nominate a person who understands your current and past difficulties. Ideally this would be a family member or relative that has known you since childhood. They would be required to participate in a condensed 30-minute clinical interview focused on exploring ADHD symptoms. If no suitable person is available an alternative arrangement can be discussed with your clinician.   

Delivery of report: 1-2 weeks (the report will be provided upon receipt of full payment). 

Use of AI Note Taking software

The clinician uses AI note taking software as part of their practice.

Medicare

Psychometric assessments are not covered under Medicare

Private Health Funds

Some private health funds may cover a portion of the assessment,  but ensure you review your policy as not all providers cover assessment.

Costs

The cost of an Adult ADHD Assessment is $1250 + GST. This includes all appointments, materials and the report.

Cancellations

For cancellations with less than 48hrs notice a cancellation fee of $400 will apply OR if you miss your appointment a cancellation fee of $400 will apply.
